Give Back Day at Good Line Beer Co.

Texas Tech Public Media and Good Line Beer Co. are teaming up to brew an all-new coffee porter, “Morning Edition.” Come support KTTZ 89.1 FM with a cold beer (or two!) when you attend our Give Back Day event at Good Line Beer Co. on Saturday, October 21, from 1-5PM!
Don’t miss out on exclusive Good Line + NPR tote bags, mugs, and beer available at the event!
Artfully crafted by the talented team at Good Line, “Morning Edition” is a coffee porter made with local coffee from Gold Stripe Coffee Roasters, creating a flavor profile that will envelop your palate like a soothing NPR morning broadcast.
Join us as we rally behind our beloved local NPR station, KTTZ 89.1 FM, for Give Back Day at Good Line Brewing Co. Your presence will make a difference, and we can’t wait to share unique brews and good vibes with you!

The Weird Gala @ 5 & J Gallery

We’re so excited to announce our 1st annual Weird Gala! A night of fundraising for our Artist Fund while also celebrating a diverse range of art and artists!

The Weird Space Artist Fund helps us to cover all supplies our installation artists need to create and make the best exhibits possible while also helping to cover their expenses and getting them additional pay for their work!

We will have live painting, a silent auction, and performances! Our version of a little Met Gala, we encourage everyone to dress up as weird or extravagant as you want! You’ll also be able to get a progress report on the installation build and talk to the artists putting it all together!

Tickets are now on sale and limited and VIP & Sponsorship packages are available. Contact us for more details on sponsoring!

Family Affair Line Dancing Class @ Caviel Museum of African American History

The Real Deal Cares x Nae Hopkins’ Family Affair Line Dancing Class was created at the request of the African American Community here in Lubbock who seeks for more black spaces in the city that cater to African American culture. The Real Deal Cares x Nae Hopkins’ Family Affair Line Dancing Class is meant to unite Lubbock’s African American Community through our love of dance and music. But this event is so much more, as it will not only bond the African American Community over music and dance, but it will serve as an event to celebrate our culture, strengthen our community and give back to the community we call home.

A percentage of proceeds from the event will go towards donating resource backpacks to foster youth in the Lubbock Community. Hygiene products and school supplies (journals, pens and pencils) donations will also be accepted!

The Real Deal Cares x Nae Hopkins’ Family Affair Line Dancing Class will take place at the Caviel Museum of African American History on Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m.
