This is a journal for awareness, reflection, and action. You can use this guided journal on your path to becoming anti-racist. Bring about positive change in yourself and your community.
You’ll be prompted to think and write about:
-Seeing the world through a racial lens.
-Who and what scare you the most when you think about race-and how to question it.
-Your relationship to your own racial identity.
-A racial injustice in society that affected you.
-Identifying your blind spots, biases, and the racist ideas you were taught to believe.
-Colorism, queer anti-racism, resistance, privilege, and power and how you define these terms for yourself.

The BOOK Club meeting will be held Thursday, October 20th from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at East Lubbock Art House, 405 MLK Jr Blvd, Lubbock, Texas 79403
