We are excited to announce a Park Cleanup Day on May 20th. Mountain Hideaway wanted to make our wonderful community a little bit more polished and we couldn’t agree more so we have organized a way to keep our city looking fresh!
Details:
Where: Mae Simmons Hike/Bike Trail Area/Canyon Lake Dam
When: May 20th | 9 am – 12 pm

What to expect:

We will start the cleanup at 9 am and end around 12 pm

Monomyth Coffee will be providing fresh, hot coffee for participants.
Mountain Hideaway will be out there with the support of some of their incredible clubs like their fly fishers who will be able to get in some of the water areas with their bibs!
Keep Lubbock Beautiful will be providing gloves, vests, and bags as well as a trash receptacle.
Good Earth Recycling will provide recycling bags and gloves to those that need them as well. They will be taking the recycled items collected and properly dispose of them.
Clean Can has donated restroom facilities for use during the event.
Main Event will be onsite with some fun items for the kids and adults (we’re all kids at heart though 
)
)Pontos will be onsite helping clean the water areas with their incredibly unique and ground breaking lightweight packable kayak.
Llano Cubano will have a few tasty treats available for us while supplies last!
Good Line Beer Co. will be providing their space and a celebratory beverage for participants after we’re done (They have a family-friendly atmosphere with juice boxes for the kids too).
