Internationally recognized violinist, and Lubbock Symphony concertmaster, Annie Chalex Boyle will perform John Corigliano’s “The Red Violin”!
Ms. Chalex Boyle has a wide-ranging career as a chamber musician, soloist, orchestral player and teacher. She is also frequently showcased on NPR’s “Performance Today.”

For the final event in the weeklong residency with Pulitzer Prize and five-time GRAMMY award-winning artist, John Corigliano, we will feature two of his works, including “The Red Violin,” played by Concertmaster Annie Chalex Boyle, and “Circus Maximus,” performed by Dr. Sarah McKoin and the Texas Tech University Symphonic Wind Ensemble! Finally, we finish with Leonard Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story!”
